Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, friendly, clean, convenient place to stay!! Loved it! It's about a 20 minute walk to the Altstadt (there's parking here for 4,50 a day and the S-bahn stops very close) and there's a walking/bike path (you can rent bikes here, too) along the river to the main tourist destinations. But because it's not right downtown it's a quieter atmosphere. The people working there were friendly, helpful and down to earth. It was a novel experience staying on a ship, and our room had portholes!! (Excuse the photos, i forgot on the first day, so these are short before we left). While i usually hate a shared bathroom, i didn't mind because it's part of the ship experience and it wasn't crowded. The breakfast was decent, and we enjoyed ours on the sundeck. There's always water, wine, juice and beer available at the front desk for reasonable prices. The rooms are small (again- it's a ship!) but clean and lovely. There's free wifi, but be warned: it only works in shared areas on the main deck. But who cares, it's vacation and it's an adventure! We loved it and already booked again for 4 months from now.

The cabin is cute, with a very large comfy bed and a small sink. Pleasant, helpful staff. The breakfast looks good but not worth 10€ (which breakfast is worth 10€ anyway?). The place provides ear plugs and you understand why: the walls are paper thin and doors slam. Also, there are construction works opposite right now, that start at 8. Therefore the view is not the prettiest at the moment. The common areas could be made more enjoyable. Btw, those were still dirty when we checked in at 4pm.

My stay was an experience in itself. A friendly boat hotel, in the middle of Dresden, with welcoming and heat-warming people. It's easily accessible, with a designated parking lot. During your morning coffee, you have the chance to enjoy the view and chit-chat with the lovely swans that swim near the boat. Despite being Dresden centered, consider it as a small and peaceful oasis in a big, yet beautiful city. The care and dedication of the people behind the business is apparent in all the details, the care they take into preparing breakfast and the readiness to help with everything you need. Just make sure you have your mask at hand and carry a smile on your face and the rest will be taken cared of for you.

I do not recommend the hotel. Sadly, my experience was horrible. The staff were not friendly and not welcoming. I stayed in room 110 (the worst). It's located on the lower floor under the hotel entrance with the noises of everyone coming in and going out. The room is on the right side of the ship where the water is not clean and there is no good view!! At night you must close the window curtains due to the ship entrance being on the right side. The room is also located right next to the shared male WC and next to the stairs which are right front of the reception (noises all day long). The room was boiling hot.
